Pamamahalaan ng Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) ang Manila leg ng bigating International Series sa Oktubre 23 hanggang 26 sa Sta. Elena Golf and Country Club.
Ayon kay PSC chairman Patrick “Pato” Gregorio, isang malaking karangalan ang maging host ng nasabing world-class golf event.
“We are proud to welcome some of the finest golfers in the world for the tournament, just a month after the FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championships,” ani Gregorio.
“This reinforces our advocacy for sports tourism and highlights the Philippines as a premier destination for international competition,” dagdag pa nito.
Babanderahan ni top-ranked golf ace Miguel Tabuena ang mga Pinoy golfers na makakatapat sina LIV Golf stars at major champions Bubba Watson, Patrick Reed, Charl Schwartzel at Louis Oosthuizen.
“We’re thrilled to finally bring the International Series to the Philippines and connect with the country’s passionate golf community,” ani International Series head Rahul Singh na nakasama si Tournament Director Pat Janssen sa isang courtesy visit kay Gregorio.
